Captivating!

This is one of my 3-year-old son's favorite books. It consists of beautiful "Where's Waldo"-like pictures (incredible detail) depicting life in places throughout the world (African savanna, China, Antarctica, "typical" US shopping mall, India, airport...) There is no end of little details to find in the pictures. It's an excellent introduction to the concept that people in different parts of the world live differently...

many aspects to explore

This book has been a big hit with my 5 y.o. son. He loves Waldo type search books and this book has similar searches, but also incorporates different cultures, new vocabulary, and tidbits of information. This book has been a great starting point for many discussions about other cultures and other countries. I'm looking forward to bringing the History Search book out of our attic soon too.
