Molodjets / Attaboy!

Great read, especially since I have met the author at Columbia International University. Having done much train travel in Russia and Ukraine, I would have loved to read this book BEFORE I had done my first journeys there - would have saved me much trouble. I enjoyed the "Dave Barry"-esque style, too (I am not making this up!). It is a very accurate description of train and taxi travel in-country, especially agreeing on fares and buying tickets. It also illustrates the immense need to be equipped and proficient in the target language and culture as much as possible BEFORE you set foot in the country for long-term living. Great Job, Bill!
