If you grew up in New York City, or any large city, this book should absolutely reside on your home's bookshelf. Memories are great and accurate memories are even better. This book allowed me to remember exactly how I and my friends laid out and played many "street games." One of the best words a New York City kid always remembers is SPALDEEN. Every kid had a pink spaldeen and carried it with him or her everywhere. There were so many uses for a spaldeen. Thanks for a great book of great memories.
A Wonderful Book

A great book about the urban street games of a past generation. Gives a brief history of each game, the type of atmosphere it was played in, and how it was played. Actual accounts of experiences and wonderful pictures. I highly recomend it.
