vintage Golden book-classic circus

I am biased in my attraction to this book as I love vintage Golden books & grew up going to the circus. I bought this for my 6 1/2 yr old 1st grade daughter on our fall break trip, during which we visited the Ringling home & museums, incl a circus museum. My daughter still remembers going to the Ringling circus herself over a yr ago. She loves the flocked illustrations & that she could read the book herself. This is true at this age of so many books whose story might appeal more to younger audiences - they enjoy them anew when they can read themselves. I liked that I could see clear references to Ringling, & liked another of the always simple classic Golden Book stories w/great illustrations.
