Concise and Jam-packed - or should I say, whole fruit packed!

I am a health educator and am thrilled that a book exists that is so small, yet so all encompassing. There is so much mis-information out there selling every new fad diet or supplement that it can be more than a little confusing and overwhelming trying to sift through it all. No wonder we give up and bury our heads! This book is a treasure trove, explaining in layman's terms, how our body processes food, utilizes what it needs and protects from what it doesn't. Fat is a protection mechanism. Without it, we'd be dead! The author provides a simple equation for healthy eating for every meal, explains in detail why our bodies store fat and how we can instead up our metabolism and shed excess belly weight. She then covers the common pitfalls of sleep and stress, gives great suggestions for overcoming them and provides the latest on supplements that may help with overcoming cravings.
