"The Giving Zone" touched my core spiritual being and allowed me to begin redirecting my life back into the positive. The book is filled with many pearls of life changing wisdom. For me, the one that stands out the most, is the concept that in order to be present in the moment one must be thankful for the moment. Wow! I am a widow with 3 young children, and being able to live in the moment and be truly present - what a gift! Thank you, Mr. Painter.
A Book You'll Be Glad You Read

Great book with lots of nuggets of wisdom throughout. The author has basically written a manual on how to live a good, successful, fulfilling life and - as per the title - tied it into the theme of giving and adding value. Mr. Painter refers to and shares quotes from many other authorities, often citing one of his main mentors; entrepreneur and business leader, Alan Walter who, based on his advice, must be an extraordinary man. The Giving Zone covers lots of different topics in very short, easy-to-read and digest chapters with advice at the conclusion of each chapter on how to apply the information. I enjoyed this book a lot and found it to be a very worthwhile read. I believe you will, as well.

Bruce's book "The Giving Zone" is a real masterpiece of good feelings, easy to follow instructions for every chapter, and vital information. He has been able to touch every level of who we are as human beings. It opened my eyes to what giving is. It is more than money to a charity or time helping people. I realize now it is a part of who I am as a human being. Now I am going about applying the Giving Zone in all areas of my life. I learned so much and will be able to use this book to make changes in my life that can mean the real difference between just living my life and loving living my life! Thank you Bruce for giving us these wonderful processes! Laura Johnson

Great book!! I really enjoyed it! I found it to be very comprehensive as it related to the different aspects of giving. It was well edited, too. I got some good ideas out of it and it helped me to "gel" some of mine. Very often it is a great help for me to see ideas and principles written out by someone else. Then I can compare them to my thoughts on the matter. Occasionally, I'll read something and say, "Oh, yeah, that's it." I found several of those in this book. I have had some difficulty "Giving Intelligently" and your chapter on that was quite helpful. I think in my case it has to do a lot with exchange. It could also have something to do with whether or not it is something they really want or if it's just something I think they want. I'm still working on it. This was just one of the many chapters that brought up areas I need to work on. Like I said, I liked your book and I appreciate you taking the time and effort to write and publish it. It is definitely something that will benefit anyone who takes the time to read it. I highly recommend it! Al
