Giving Through Loving Service

Kirk Nowery has captured the essence of giving in the pages of this book. He has given us a refreshing reminder that giving is more than financial. Giving is a life commitment to whole heartedly serve others. Starting with giving others the gift of truth, the author moves on to include lessons in the gift of compassion, the gift of service, encouragement, and prayer. The lessons are reinforced with examples from everyday life. Nowery uses well known personalities, lay ministers, and his own family members to exemplify this giving of self. The author has shown himself to be genuine and vulnerable as he openly shared personal stories from his heart. Sidebars are used for emphasis. These highlighted truths become a quick ready reference for future review of these thought-provoking lessons.
