True story set in Berlin during Hilters coming into power

A very powerful and Amazing Story about Libertas and Harro who were lesser known heroes who gave their lives in the name of Freedom...to stir the people of Germany to Denounce Hilter and all his pure evil ways . It starts at the beginning were Libby ( short for Libertas) leaves her Family home to escape their suffering ways and to strike out on her own in Berlin, but instead of finding the freedom she wanted so much, the city is already under Hilter and all his strict rules, books are banned and burned, many great artists, and their great works of art are also banned, and replaced by what the Fuhrer deems Germanic approved ! Jewish people cannot own businesses, windows are smashed, and innocent people are disappearing over night. Libertas cannot ignore all the injustices done to innocent people, and she longs to be able to do something ...anything ...to fight against Hitler. Libertas meets a very handsome man on her friends boat, she is taken by his extremely good looks, beautiful blue eyes and sandy colored hair, and beautiful smile, besides his broad muscular build. She notices when he removes his shirt ..because of the hot sun, she sees the scars across his back and chest that are whip Mark's left from a severe beating from the SS soldiers under Hitlers command. Harro tells Libertas he was a journalist who wrote his own newspaper, and wrote of the truths that are going on. Not the lies Hitler wants all to believe. He was arrested and tortured. So now to escape being recognized, he joins the German air command, and flys under the radar, but he is infact a Resistance Fighter. Libby and Harro fall madly in love and marry, and together they are determined to make a great difference. Their love for each other is so pure, and so devoted, they are almost inseparable from each other, they can just look at one another and know what the other is thinking and feeling..beyond speaking their words. Together they hold secret meetings in their apartment, late at night, under the cover of blackout shades, they talk, and plan, and smuggle information, and make and distribute Resistance Pamphlets spreading the word as far as they can.. to Unite, stand together, with voices heard, to fight against Hitlers Regime. But come one cold Dec night, during a house meeting, Libby looks out the front window of their apartment, and sees the same man, hiding his face behind a newspaper, the same man for weeks now, watching her watching him. In her heart she knows it's the Gastpo.! Excellant true story of unsung Heroes. The ones we don't know about. The Author does a Fabulous job of bringing the lives of these lesser know heros to us in this REMARKABLE story. All of 5 stars! Its Captivating and heartful, and heart breaking at times.A great work of Fiction based on the True Lives of Libertas and Harro !! A must read !!
