Girl From Tomorrow

I remember this Australian TV show, it was very good. Book versions of TV shows and movies are usually awful but this one is the exception. Any child or young adult will enjoy the adventures of Alana, who grew up (or "will grow up" :-) in the utopistic 30th century and, after being kidnapped by the evil Silverthorn, ends up in today's Australia, a place where she feels lost but manages to find friends and does everything she can to get the time machine back from Silverthorn. A great story.
