Jack MacGorman's exposition of 1 Corinthians 12-14 provides the reader with an honest, biblical approach to subject of spiritual gifts. Written in the 1970s, MacGorman tackled a hot issue -- tongues -- with precision. He does not hold to the Southern Baptist "party line" that tongues was a gift that went out of existence in the first century. Rather, he holds to unpacking what the scripture says. This is a "must study" for anyone who wants a clear word on the Word.
