Book Overview

This is a special book, written in a special way, for a special purpose. The book contains fourteen poems that have come to me over the years. Some people have suggested that these are God-inspired because they all have some reference to the spiritual realm. I don't know if they are or not, but because of the manner in which they have come to me, I don't claim them exclusively as my own. I didn't always appreciate this gift as something special until recently when people with whom I've shared this body of work have encouraged me to get it published. The poems address the blessings of family and friendships, community, self-awareness, prayer, and reconciliation. In reading this book I hope you find connections that inspire you to reflect on your own experiences and how these blessings have enriched your life . . . the unexamined life is an empty vessel.
