A great Mystery!

This is a book I plan to suggest to my students. I know they love mysteries, and I know they'll love this one. This is about a girl and her sister's (Kaykay and Annie) mom is elected president and her dad (who people don't know who to call) is a history professor and the tells Kaykay and Annie that the Lincoln bedroom is haunted. She spends sometime in there...... and something happens. I don't want to say what, but this is a fantastic read! I really like the characterization and writing style that St. George has. Her character's are fantastic and life like. Kaykay want to be a mystery writer and used the Lincoln haunting as experience she feels she needs to become a better writer. The characters are true to life and they act the way you think and expect them too. I love the uncle in the book, he's a hoot. There were some parts I was laughing out lout at. St. George has a fantastic writing style! She has the ability to keep the story flowing at a even pace, not to fast and not to slow. She has enough plot twists to keep the reader reading and hooked to the final page. Trust me, not a writers have that ability. She also has a lot of historical facts interwoven in this story. The reader isn't beat over the head with them, just facts here and there about Lincoln and the White House. What does Kaykay and Annie find? Well, you'll have to read this to find out. If you start this, I can promise you, you won't be sorry. I know I wasn't.
