A Fabulous Read from my Childhood

I read this book many, many years ago (when I was a little girl in the '80s!) and while I can't remember all the details, the memory of this book has stayed with me. For years I have struggled to remember it's title...I'm so glad I finally did, so I can read it again.

The Carvers Save the Day

The Ghost of Windy Hill is a good book for all ages. It is not scary, but not funny. If you like books with surprises, this is a good one. There are a lot of characters in this book who are very nice, especially the Carvers. This book take place in the country outside of Boston in the year 1851.

Clyde Robert Bulla is a great author!

I have read the book Ghost of Windy Hill about 5 times and it never gets boring. One time I read it twice in a week. So it dosn't take very long to read. I have also read Aanother of his book i read Ghost Town Treasure. That i read in a few hours and it was as good as Ghost of Windy Hill.

My favorite book when I was was a child!

This was my most favorite book when I was in the 3rd thru 5th grade! It has a great plot & a great twist at the end of the story.

This book is a great mystery for children of all ages.

This story is about a haunted house and the Giddings. Mr. and Mrs. Giddings lived in a country house. Once Mrs.Giddings thought she saw a ghost go past her door. She told her husband she wouldn't live there anymore. So they went to Boston to ask the Carver family[Professor and Mrs.Carver, Lorna and Jamie]if they would stay in the house to scare the ghost away. The Carver family agreed. While living there the Carver children made some good friends and found the real reason Mrs.Giddings didn't want to live there.
