Predicting the Future by a Look at Traditions

Ironically, the original Publisher's Weekly review accused the authors of taking "an alarmist view" of the American economy. Now, after the fiasco of AIG bonuses, sub-prime loan meltdowns and the arrest of Bernie Madoff, the authors look more psychic than alarmist. By contrasting the management styles of Sitting Bull and Custer, Snell points out the ethical flaws in modern management practices that are bringing us to the brink of financial disaster in many companies and government organizations. This book should be required reading for every company receiving TARP funds and for all managers in California state government.

One of the best books I've ever read on leadership. It gives practical strategies and wonderfully relevant examples. People who read it in my leadership courses love it and it gives them a new way of exploring leadership that is also fun.

This is an unknown, but excellent book on business strategy. It is easy and interesting reading while providing an easy business strategy approach. I have a framed print of "Sitting Bull" over my desk to remind me "THINK STRATEGY"
