Interesting and Thought-Provoking

I received this book from a book club some 20 years ago and finally got around to reading it. I was suprised how well written and interesting it was. I learned a great deal about the Earth's geological and cosmic history. Also, radioactive carbon dating is explained and is something I always wondered about. Worth borrowing a copy if you can find one.
