I DON'T SEE YOUR PARADISE, CRUELLA De VIL

At the United Nations' international Conference on Women in 1995, a Sudanese delegate demanded of a French delegate (although it could just as easily and accurately have been a U.S. delegate), "Why are you so angry? You have all those rights you want us to accept...Please show me a little window of your paradise, because all I see in your world is increased promiscuity among young people, increased divorce, increased abortion, homosexuality, venereal diseases...I don't see your paradise." Dale O'Leary attended the 1994 U.N. Conference on Population in Cairo and the Conference on Women in 1995 at Beijing, and in her 1997 book, THE GENDER AGENDA, she gives us her firsthand account of the proceedings with their behind-the-scenes mendacity and maliciousness, and the destructive feminist goals promoted at these gatherings. I have read many books on the Feminist Movement, but none better than THE GENDER AGENDA. O'Leary writes, "What happened in Cairo and Beijing matters. Not so much because the U.N. can force its will on the United States, for only poor countries who depend on foreign aid will be forced to accept the agendas promulgated at these conferences. It matters because the culture war is a battle of ideas, and the U.N. has the resources and prestige to promote its agenda to world leaders, schoolchildren, and the media...What happened in Beijing does matter, because what was planned in Beijing will be coming to every town, every school, and every business (if it isn't there already) - unless it is exposed and we stand up against it." [pgs. 20 & 26] President Bill Clinton insisted the Beijing conference was "true blue to families", but I'm pretty sure that would depend on what the meaning of "families" is. Dr. James Dobson of Focus On The Family called it "the most radical atheistic, anti-family crusade in the history of the world." Let's see now, who should I believe, Dobson or the licentious liar (whose feminist wife may be leading this country after the next presidential election)? On page 188, O'Leary tells us, "To make things even more difficult, no translation was offered in the contact groups. This clearly disadvantaged the profamily delegates who came mainly from Latin America, French-speaking Africa, and the Moslem countries. Since the debate was over language, correct translation was crucial. Protests about these abuses were ignored." Did you notice a glaring omission there? Thaaaaat's riiiiight! The U.S. delegates sent to the Beijing conference were NOT profamily; they were profeminism and they supported every perverse abnormality and immoral sickness associated with radical feminism! Remember that, you proud American, the next time you remove your hat to sing God Bless America before the kickoff or during the seventh inning stretch! One thing that Dale O'Leary's book has going for it that few other antifeminsm books do, is its clear articulation of the disturbingly overlooked connection between Marxism and Feminism

Very informative and well documented

This book is a must read for those who want to know more about the "Gender Agenda" of the radical gender feminists. These radical feminists do not speak for the majority of women, and they do not have women's best interests at heart. Yet, they insist that their views and policies be enforced worldwide by the UN and powerful Western nations. The author traces the gender feminists' bitter animosity towards the nuclear family to its roots in the flawed and erroneous "theories" of Marx and Engels. I, as most people, was unaware of this connection to Marxism. Be prepared for some surprises when you read about just how extreme these folks are. Here is just one example: They want all women to work outside the home - even those women who prefer to stay at home to raise their children. No choice here. Highly recommended!

The Hidden Agendas of Feminism

"The Gender Agenda: Redefining Equality" (Vital Issues Press, 1997), by Dale O'Leary, is one of the most important books I have read in the last few years. I learned more than I expected about the agendas and activities of feminists. I am not a stranger to feminism, as I took undergraduate and graduate women's studies classes, and at one time considered myself a feminist. While working on my second Masters, I spoke my views in class against feminism as I believed we were in a mature environment and graduate school was a place were one could question things. The professor told me that the radical feminists I spoke about were the fringe minority and that I was being ridiculous. "The Gender Agenda: Redefining Equality" describes the activities of feminists putting into action their culture shifting plot I spoke of in class. These feminists are not harmless, but rather, in positions of power in the UN and EU. These feminists claim men and women are the same in ALL WAYS (physically, mentally, etc.), they despise full-time mothers (believing all women should work in paid jobs if they want to or not), and they hate religions. Religions stand in their way from the "freedom" to have sex with everyone and aborting any children that might result. Religions, of course, do not approve of homosexuality and promiscuity, and therefore, stand in the way of the ideal feminist world. The author brilliantly sums up these supposed seekers of equality:"Ideologies should be judged objectively, but in studying feminism and the Gender Agenda, it is difficult to put aside the suspicion that the entire enterprise is a giant rationalization created by hurt women to justify their anger, grudges, and self-destructive behavior. Their abortions, sexual promiscuity, rejection of motherhood, and lesbianism seem more like the acting out that results from childhood trauma than courageous self-liberation. Sometimes it is easier to blame oppressive structures and demand that the world change, than to admit responsibility for one's own self-destructive behavior." (O'Leary 15)This book made me see what a truly dangerous movement feminism is. The activities of the feminists would shock nearly everyone and this book describes them in detail. I would read more books from this author without hesitation, as "The Gender Agenda: Redefining Equality" is one of the finest books I have ever read.

Read this book!

Are you aware of how those of us who support equality between men and women are being used by the radical feminists who want to change our very social structures to reflect their agenda? Are you aware of how these radicals, whose agenda could not gain support among the majority of women in America, are now working around us and through organizations like the UN to make the world they envision a reality? Are you prepared to live in a world where every career for women is acceptable EXCEPT homemaker and stay at home mom which won't even be an option? Are you ready to live in a society where absolutely no distinction is made between male and female, where children get to "choose" their sex when they are older? If not, read this book.The stealth operations of these feminists may not be known until it is too late to undue their damage. They use language that would seem friendly to ordinary people. They speak of family, health, children and what is fair. But under their carefully crafted language lurks policies that attack women who want to exercise their God-given right to assume traditional roles as mothers and wives, who want to rear their children, protect them from sexual exploitation and perversion, and who want to love their husbands. It is imperative to educate ourselves as to exactly how they are inserting their ideology into our social systems so we can prevent further damage to our society. This is a fairly quick read, but is packed with referenced information that is easy to understand. Read this book and then pass it on or talk about it to everyone you know. Radical feminism is not about equality...it is about revolution. If we are apathetic, they win.
