Tweaking One's Endtimes Understanding About Israel...

THE GATHERING STORM consists of endtimes' analyses by 16 conservative evangelicals who adhere to the literal/historical/grammatical method of interpretation followed by John Walvoord to whom the book is dedicated. For readers already possessing a basic grasp of pre-trib, pre-mil theology, THE GATHERING STORM is an endtimes theology sharpener as the writers contend against errors going on nowadays in eschatology due to poor interpretation methods stemming from compromises such as progressive dispensationalism. The writing is crisp, scholarly yet not pedantic but enjoyable to read, and avoids any tone of animus. The book is mostly, but not exclusively, about Israel. It avoids all the vague generalities floating around in prophecy books nowadays and gets down to the nitty-gritty exegeting biblical passages, pointing out fallacious reasoning, etc. Since the above product description lacks a Table of Contents link and the title's not much of a help, here's the list of chapters to give you an idea of what topics are treated: PART ONE: GROWING CONFUSION ABOUT BIBLICAL PROPHECY 1.
