A hilarious collection of quotations!

I have to talk a bit now and then for work, and when I'm stuck for a good line , I have to admit that I borrow the odd quote from this excellent work. It really is great value for money with hundreds of humourous lines that you can 'borrow' for dinner parties, weddings, speeches etc., or simply to amuse yourself when you're writing something up. Highly recommended

Good Fun, good insights

It's just a lot of fun; the kind that makes you guffaw and on occasion makes you think. Don't keep it anyplace you don't want people to stay because once they pick it up, they won't put it down. Could be a good reference to spice up a speech or presentation too. Nicely organised into topics.

A great collection

This book is a very funny collection of all topics from bagpipes to marriage. It's got quotes from all sources from Mark Twain to Homer Simpsons. It's an excellent read for someone looking for a few laughs to put into a speech, or even just for leisure.

Anthology of funny lines

This book is in fact quite entertaining and certainly good for a few laughs. It's essentially a compilation of lots and lots of funny one-liners organised into sections of life, death, marriage, working, men & women, food, etc. etc. Some of the best quotes are from Groucho Marx, Woody Allen, Steven Wright, Joan Rivers, Rodney Dangerfield, Jerry Seinfeld, and a few others, while some are only mildly amusing or just clever - which is also quite entertaining. There's a HUGE amount of material here and it's a good reference if you're for example writing a speech. I admit I completely cracked up over a few of them - priceless stuff.
