Engineering is Cool!

This book is a favorite of mine. I recommend it to any person with any interest in engineering or techincal problem solving (also pick up Pepper White's "The Idea Factory" & Yeager and Rutan's "Voyager".) Engineering students (especially those involved in team projects) should read this book. Learning by doing...and having a passion for your work...those are 2 of the important themes in my view. I've meet some characters similar to these guys...and the stereotypes fit.It's a fun read...and perhaps the best thing you can take away from it is seeing what can happen when you follow your own path and resist being a "tool".
