We are pretty much guilty of it right ? Well in this case lesson learned. This is the first book I've read by this author and I really liked it. It is a short story that ends in a cliffhanger. I sat and read this straight through in just a few short hours. Then started on book 2. Had i not alread had book 2 i might have been a little upset. I dont like books that leave you hanging with such a huge cliffhanger. I tend to throw thoes types of books . The Fixer: The Naked Man is the first in a new suspense series by Jill Amy Rosenblatt. I thought at first I wouldn't enjoy this book but boy was i wrong. Jill Rosenblatt wrote a terrific, suspenseful ,fast paced , quick read. It is full of twists and turns that you will not see coming. Meet, Katerina Mills ,a college student in New York city. I just loved her character. She is so different from everyone else in this story. Her dad bails on the family and his commitment to send Katerina to college. Her tuition for law school is due and no way to pay it. Nor does she have any money for living expenses . She has two weeks to come up with $14,000 or she's out of her apartment, out of school .But Kat is not one to give up. She takes a job with a company called MJM to be a fixer. A fixer can make a lot of money just by helping someone with their problems, right? And no one gets hurt, right? Problem solved, right! Easy Money ! However Katrina's life is never going to be the same again. Be sure to read my review of book 2 that i posted today too.
