Once upon a time the world ended... The Fish Fox Boys didn't care so much about that. This is a compilation of the first three books of the Fish Fox Boys series, a post-nuclear fairy tale across a wasteland in which civilization continues to struggle along and nature has reclaimed most of the surface. And then there are our titular heroes, The Fish Fox Boys (Fred, Adam, and Anne) idiot savant inventors who love the reclaimed knowledge of science and artistry as much as they love a good brisket sandwich. Part One begins with the destruction of their home, Camp Fish Fox, and as a gesture of consolation for the lost archives of Anne's library, Adam and Fred leave to find the world's last remaining computer, an autonomous PC who refers to itself as Roto. Part Two begins with a bang as Fred detonates an entire beach of mutated jellyfish, allowing a small team of pirates to kidnap Roto. Fred heads out to sea to reclaim his computer friend while Adam and Anne set their sights to the depths below to discover a citadel of socialist mermaids. Part Three begins with a harmless competition to grow the best corn. Obviously, this leads to disaster and dread horror. Adam makes a bevy of friends in vans and computer repair stores, while Anne uses witchcraft and fascism to shape a small town to her liking. Meanwhile, Fred falls in with a traveling minstrel troupe intent on awakening a gigantic, sleeping Badger King.
