The First Six Days is a great book! The author, Doug Hamp, uses his in-depth knowledge of the Hebrew language to reinforce the accuracy of the Biblical account of Creation. There is no need to question what the Bible says. God said what He meant and meant what He said! There is no need for extra long days! I highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in the Eveloution/Creation depate.

Great reading

I am so glad that I came upon this book as it has not only educated me in the issues of creation and been an enjoyable reading, but it has really taken me deeper into the meaning of scripture in general and a greater understanding of what the Hebrew texts are really saying. I believe this book will richly bless anyone who loves the Word of God.

Interesting ideas regarding humans and dinosaurs living together.

Two main points of this book are that the 6 days of creation were literal, and that humans lived along with dinosaurs. The author works from a strong knowledge of Hebrew which he uses as his springboard. The first point is backed up with strong biblical evidence. The second is interesting. Though I might not completely buy his thesis he does bring up some very good points and interesting information for example, soft dino-tissue found in fossil bones. Well worth the read. Mainly for Theists because the author takes the stance that the reader is a believer and then goes forward with biblical evidence for both points. A book I would suggest for a scientific rejection of Evolution is The Case For A Creator by Lee Strobel.
