Amy Candler had never been sick before, but suddenly her super powers disappear and she develops strange symptoms that she can't ask a doctor to diagnose. This description may be from another edition of this product.
Amy and Tasha are excited - Nancy Candler's very good friend and colleague Dr. David Hopkins has come to Los Angeles. And he has agreed to pierce the girls' ears! The girls are thrilled - but Amy is puzzled when it hurts her so much, especially since pain is never a problem for her. Soon after, Amy starts to get a bad fever and starts hallucinating. Tasha, although she knows Amy is a clone and shouldn't be seen by anyone who could figure it out, calls a doctor to take some blood from Amy. Soon after, Tasha realises it was the wrong decision. She needs to think of something fast, so she pulls Amy into the closet and gets into her bed, and even though she hates needles she doesn't make a sound when the doctor arrives and gives her the shot, and luckily, Tasha's quick change of mind produces a "normal" reading on the tests - something the orginization was hoping would show something of Amy's special genetic makeup! --This is one of the three best books in the series! I was impressed! Marilyn Kaye did a fantastic job on this one!

Amy mysteriously comes down with a fever, and she starts to lose her abilities. As she gets weaker and weaker, she suddenly falls into a coma. The strange thing is, Amy can never get sick. At least, not in the way everyone thinks... This was an exciting book, very mysterious, with some sad parts. I liked how Kaye described the visions Amy was seeing when she was in her coma. For a while, it doesn't look as though Amy will end up alive or dead!! But it has a happy ending. I loved this book. It was one of the best in the whole series!!
"Nobody was coming to save her".

Amy is suddenly dizzy, and her fever is high. Where have her superior skills got to? And why is no one coming to save her? Normal people would be concerned, but Nancy, Eric and Tasha are more than worried. They are terrified, terrified because Amy can't get sick, but now she is.I enjoyed this book because Amy isn't so "perfect" in it. The best of the series!
The Fever

Awsome book! It was even better than all the others in my opinion. There was more suspence and more to it than Amy just being so perfect. It was harder to figure out.
Another great Replica book.

This book, like the rest of the Replica books, was great. It had a lot of suspense, and it was a really exciting storyline. This story almost made Amy seem more human, now that she had some weaknesses. Overall I really enjoyed this book!
