Now gardens can bring health and happiness to their owners by encouraging the flow of energy through trees, water features, rocks, paths, flowers, vegetables, and herbs. Feng Shui, the ancient Chinese art of channeling the earth s beneficial energies to flow smoothly in and around the home, is practiced around the world. With the gardening advice in this book, any garden, no matter how small, can follow the principles of Feng Shui."
While this book was very short on useful feng shui information from a FS consultant's point of view, it was extremely entertaining in other ways. I really enjoyed the symbolism of the different plants in Chinese culture, the aromatherapy-as-applied-to-gardens section, and the useful listing of Oriental plant materials, their history, and cultivation data. No photos, but, hey, you can't have everything. Forget the Feng Shui part, it's still a great book on Chinese garden lore.
