Download access = a CD Rom

It's 2022. When I buy a book with "download access" to the templates I'm expecting a website and code, not a CD Rom. I can't even open the thing. There are no measurements given in the book except that you're supposed to end up with six inch blocks. If the piecing diagrams in the book are traced directly you'll end up with roughly 3.5 inch blocks. It's all workable if you're familiar with how they made quilts in 1920 and fair to good at math, but I wasn't expecting that level of authenticity from the experience. Two stars for the slice of history provided by the letters from the farmer's wives, but there are dozens websites where I could have pulled this much information about traditional quilt patterns for free.

The Farmer's Wife Sampler Quilt

The narration is nice but please note there are NO measurements for each quilt block. Instead, templates on 106 pages are provided. At least 10 to 12 templates fit on one page but they chose to put each template separately. I think this is a major waste of paper. The templates also do not have measurements, of course.
