Inspiring

Another excellent book from the lady who wrote Three Year Picnic - a story of the three years after Pearl Harbor which she and her husband spent as a civilians in separate Japanese prison camps in the Phillipines.This book tells of the what it was like to be on a Farm during the depression. It relates so many happy memories. Vivid details of life on a farm where many pulled together, constantly productive, creating a wonderful place to live and grow up, a place which remains today as a beautiful farm in the Willamette Valley.Many of the narratives inspired me to work for a better life for myself and those around me.This book is a treasure.
