I received this book in time for school. It was in wonderful condition and it was a pleasure doing business with this seller.

Very Practical and Well Written

I found the book to be a wonderful and practical guide for Video Production. Obviously written by a true video expert, Pete May is also an outstanding writer and teacher. The second edition appears to be free of the printing errors that are mentioned in reviews of the first edition.

Highly recommended! - Printing errors corrected in 2nd edition

A friend recommended this handbook to me, after I expressed an interest in digital video production. After reading these reviews, I Googled the author Pete May (super friendly guy!) and emailed him to make sure that the printing issues had been resolved. He indeed reassured me that all the printing problems (the publisher's mistakes) had been fixed in this new 2nd edition. If you do have the 1st edition you can download the corrected pages on his FTP website ([..]). I highly recommend this book for anyone who is even just curious about the process of video production. His writing style is clever and easy to follow, not to mention, the information is rock solid!

Covers everyting you need to know to start working in digital video. The author provides good career advice for those that want to make money. I recommend it.
