Those who want to be aware of diseases, prevention options, and treatment options, this encyclopedia lists many choices/remedies/reasons for each ailment topic. Some feels a bit out of date if you get the pre-80s book. Overall a good reference to teach us not to fear diseases, teaches us to improve our health and care for our bodies.

I ordered this book for a friend who had loaned his copy to someone who failed to return it. When it arrived, I liked it so much, I kept it for myself. My friend has since obtained another copy of the book, which he continually loans out. Good book, great value.
good reference, out of print, classic alternative medicine

This is a classic reference on alternative medicine. No company would dare publish this today due to liabilities. If you prefer to take personal responsibility for your health this should be part of your library. If you are disgusted with Web MD for telling you to see a doctor no matter what the ailment, you may benefit from this book. It is from Rodale Press from the good old days before they became a rubber stamp for pharmaceuticals and AMA.
