An excellent experience of author’s work outside of his Warhammer 40k novels.

A very fast, and engaging read of an era a millennia after the post-industrial worldwide collapse with focus on the area between Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. It’s reminiscent of the Archeo-futuristic writings of the late Guillaume Faye, and retro futurism posited by William S. Lind in Victoria if industrial societies fail to make a comeback on a large scale after catabolic collapse.
