Miriam Nagl, LPGA Tour player Gives Book a good rating

I have been following all of the ideas written in this book since starting to work with Robert Prichard at the end of 2004 and have seen my game improve in all areas. Just to give a few examples. My tour income quadrupled. Last year I was even off the tee when paired with one of the best players on the tour. This year I was 15 yards longer. My putts roll better since I have gone to the true pendulum putt he describes in his book. I had only 23 putts on one round this summer. Robert makes the rules of the swing and putting mechanics easy to understand by applying the principle of measurement. He measures your body angles during the golf swing and makes a plan with you on how you can achieve the flexibility ranges necessary for great golf. He actually shows you how to do this in his book. With his unique approach he has made the process really enjoyable and I wake up every day with the intention of becoming a more Efficient Golfer so I can win more golf tournaments. Handicap dropped from 5 to 1 in six weeks

I bought this book about 3 months ago. I'm 58, and was a five handicap. One of the first things I tried from the book was to bring my hands up to the swing plane at address. I didn't think that a simple thing like that would make much of a difference, but all my drives were going straight on the range. Then I went down to Fort Bragg where my son was graduating from Special Forces. He talked me into playing in their weekly tournament, and son of a gun if I didn't win the tournament and $125. All of my drives went straight down the middle Perfect shots. It was just like turning a switch. You turn it on, you turn it off. Everytime my drive doesn't go straight now, I know its because I don't have my hands on the swing plane. A month and a half after applying the recommendations in the book, I was down to a 1 handicap and look forward to lowering even more. The other thing I did was buy Bob Prichard's hip trainer, which he describes in the back of the book. My back has been in constant pain ever since a truck I was in was blown up in Vietnam. All the treatment in the world never did a thing for my back. But after a few weeks on the hip trainer, and trying one of his stretches, my back is now pain free. My drives have gone from 260 to 290, and last week I hit one 310. All because my hips are stronger and more flexible. If you want to play better golf, buy the book, get the hip trainer and do the stretches. I did and worked for me and will work for you.

I bought it on their web site...

[...] I was a 5 handicap and thought I had a good swing, at least that's what my instructor and friends told me. The book was an easy read. I then videotaped my swing and measured it according to the directions. The videotaping and analysis took me about an hour. I was pretty amazed to see the mistakes I was making. I was starting my downswing with my left hip, instead of my left knee. My front spine angle at impact was way too big (which explains why some of my drives went off to the right), and my hip speed was slow. I started correcting these errors and little by little my game started to improve. Now, three months later, I am playing more like a 2, with a number of sub-par rounds. What I admire about this book is that everything is measured. There is none of this-type-of-swing-is-good-for-this-body-type. There are no `tips' or quick fixes. The author breaks the swing down into range, sequence, separation, speed and alignment--all of which he shows you how to measure. Because I ordered the book through the website, I get an email every two weeks with further recommendations for working on my swing, and some entertaining stories about his work with professional golfers. I think if you email him, he will probably put you on his list. I recently ordered his hip trainer and am working some more on speeding up my hips. I can see that with some work on my flexibility I can get down to scratch--something I have always wanted to do.
