The Education of Oversoul Seven"

This is a wonderful book!. I have read somewhere before that 'the past, the present and the future all happen at the same time' and I could not wrap my brain around that idea!! until I read this book!!. I'm not crazy about this author, and I think [not sure] this was her first book; well she did great w/ this book!! Could not put it down! I have given this book away as a gift many times!! Wonderful and entertaining!

Where oh Where has my soul gone?

If you've never experienced the enchanting mind of Jane Roberts and Seth, do yourself a favor and read this classic. This book held my interest from first to last page... in a nut shell, it's the story of an "Oversoul in training", Seven, who is trying to guide and support four personalities each living in a different time, centuries even millennium apart. It's a fun read and maybe we gain some insights into our own soul's development or maybe it's all fantasy??? you tell me.

I loved it!

When I found this book in the dusty depths of my father's science fiction collection, I barely gave it another thought. After all, I usually don't go for this kind of thing. But I have to tell you, this is truly a wonderful book. The characters come from different centuries and different places, but the way the author has twined their lives and destinies together gives the story a monumental quality. By the end of the book, you feel as if you've been friends with each of them for a lifetime. Sure, the particular point of view that the author chose to describe the tale may seem a bit odd, but I guess that's to be expected with a sci-fi novel. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I would gladly reccomend it to anyone!

A breathtaking journey into the heart

This was the first of Jane Roberts' captivating books that I read. I became totally absorbed in it. I have read the complete trilogy now, "compelling reading" only faintly scratches the surface of description for this wonderful story of discovery. The intertwined characters are like old friends, sometimes frustrating, often quite exasperating but always so very dear. I became breathless with the anticipation of what might happen next, eager to turn the page & fall deeper in love with a world of wonder that I always hoped existed, always knew was there, I only had to find it. I have recommended this book, the whole trilogy in fact, over & over again & will continue to do so. Stunning writing & with such warmth & humour, I felt as if I were there between those covers myself...maybe I am. END
