This is a fantastic resource book for those who would like to grow herbs, vegetables and fruits indoors. I miss my garden during the winter and really enjoy seeing my indoor vegetable plants grow, bloom, and then develop fruit. The book provides solid information about the light, soil, water, etc requirements to insure a successful indoor winter crop. I love this book!
Amazing

This book is interesting to read, clear and well organized. The author doesn't suggest one best way to do things, but instead gives you all the knowledge you could need to understand pros and cons of various methods and develop a system that fits your goals, budget, and life style. I've read a lot on this subject and this book was the first to arm me with the understanding of how the plants work, how the available lights and equipment work, and how they do or don't work together. This book is a treasure. It should be noted, though, that it's not new and doesn't include LED lights or the newest other equip, but that's what I loved best about it, it didn't prescribe amazing thousand dollar toys, instead it talked about affordable, attainable methods anyone can find and use.
