A must for anyone in the process of organizational change

This book should be required reading for all teenagers, and any adult going through personal or work-related upheaval would also benefit tremendously. It contains lucidly crafted, accessible principles that do much more than state the obvious home truths expounded in most such books. I am now circulating my copy among the "survivors": my newly formed team, created after a painful and protracted process of "right-sizing" and re-organization. I believe it will help us as a group to create afresh and avoid the predispositions, mindsets and mistakes of our predecessors. To the author : THANK YOU!

Much more than a business book. A must read!

This is much more than a business book. This is a personal book that can help entire families. It nails the important issues of worth and trust. It defintely is a must read if you want to make change your ally rather than your enemy. The Eagle and Monk is a great gift for anyone you care for and/or love.

Wow! Every once in a while a book comes along that grabs your attention and really makes you think about how to deal with the world around you. The Eagle & The Monk brings the reality of today's challenges into a fable that provides a useful guide to a successful journey. The message contained in this book can help everyone in the family deal with the never ending changes life seems to bring. In fact, this book could be the perfect gift to send someone dealing with significant change.

An excellent presentation of traditional values vs new exper

Your book caused me to think in a different way about the many messages it delivered: trust, cooperation, teamwork, communications, old vs new, etc. I found myself stopping in the middle of sentences to think of what I'd read and its applicability to my life and my job. I'm planning to read it at least once more. Great book!

Older Generations find Change Ideas Helpful

(from an 80 year old reader who does not have a computer from which she can submit a review...) In regards to "The Eagle & The Monk," I am finding it most interesting (and helpful) reading. Many of us older people do have difficulty in adapting to the changes going on around us. I am one of these. And, thinking back, I can remember that my own grandmother had this same difficulty. When I was a child, the radio, movies, serve-yourself grocry stores, etc. were just coming in. Grandma wasn't able to fully understand all these new things. Now, here I am, a Grandma myself, and I wonder about computers and all the other things which are coming into being day by day. All the same, I think it is wise to try to understand WHY new things botyher us "old folks" so much. I further think that your book is going to help me in doing this.
