True to Life and Funny Too

Who hasn't known a dog like Ernie, who barks at everything, from "important events like the mail's arrived" to "the wind changed direction?" And who hasn't known a cat, like the one in this story, who slinks around the yard, looking for ways to cause trouble for the dog? This book is fun for adults and, most importantly, it's fun for kids. Mine -- a five-year-old and even his big sister, who's eight -- LOVE this book. In fact, my son took it to school today for the teacher to read at storytime.

Great story for dog lover's!

My five-year old son and I just think that this is a greatstory. We fell in love with Ernie, he reminds us of our own misguidedbarker. We always smile at the sweet ending. This is a wonderful story to share with your young reader.
