The Divine Circle is Back!

Like many other reviewers, after reading Book 4 of Dolores Stewart Riccio's Divine Circle of Ladies series, I was eagerly awaiting Book 5. Finally I emailed Ms. Riccio, (as did other fans) and asked, "WHEN?" I, too, was disappointed and puzzled to learn that the former publisher did not want to publish the new book. Donna Miller (reviewer) and I hold similar opinions about Riccio's work: it is humorous, well plotted and presents wiccans in a positive light. The characters are like next-door-neighbors! They keep the reader spell-bound (pun intended!). They give me a peek into their cozy dedicated-to-one another coven with its variety of quirky personalities, and lovable mystery-solving qualities. Sometimes (for me) the mystery is almost secondary to the camaraderie of the circle! Add THE DIVINE CIRCLE OF LADIES PLAYING WITH FIRE to your collection! I look forward to Ms. Riccio's NEXT book about this group of witchy-women who have become my friends!

A great summer read

I was very happy to see this book finally arrive. It was well worth the wait. The only problem now it waiting for the next one to come out. It is one of my favorite series.

Love it! Love it! Love it!

YES! YES! YES! The ladies are finally back! (and I didn't notice that many typos!) I believe this is Mrs. Riccio's best Circle book yet. She has 2 nasty villains for the ladies to catch, and as I am first of all a mystery lover, the story moves forward beautifully. The characters move forward in their lives with some changes being happy and others quite sad. The ladies, particularly Cass and Fiona, continue to grow in their powers. Some people may reject this book based on the circles practice of Wicca. I am a Christian and I still love these books. These are beautiful, strong, intelligent women who use talents they have been given to help their circle as well as others. They love and support each other thru good times and bad. I would love to have a group of friends as intelligent and caring as these women. Pretty please, could Fiona come and live next door to me?! :)! She is such an incredible character! Read this book and enjoy, then please come back and write a review so others can discover these beautiful stories. Ready for number 6, please!

Magickal

Once again Cass Shipton and her circle of friends have warmed my inner soul. These woman have become a positive source of energy in such a negative world. I'm more than Pleased that Dolores Riccio has been able to extend her knowledge and love the of wiccan practice, yet show respect to others too. My heart dropped when she was having a problem with a publisher, but blessings be someone was smart enough to pick up this much loved series. I'm eager and awaiting the next adventure of Cass, her friends and there very sexy other halves. Thank You Dolores for pushing to continue this series and may the Goddess Bless you with more to come~

I Love This Series

I was so excited when this book became available. I was upset when Ms. Riccio had trouble getting a publisher. I was also very confused, since this is my favorite series. But, this book was worth the wait. I devoured it immediately. All my favorite characters are back and it's such fun to see how they are evolving, although there were tears, too. The magic in this series is totally believable for me. The friendships and sense of family, particularly those special people encountered who become family as we go through life, make it so much more than just a mystery series. The series honors and strengthens the divine feminine but it is equally obvious the author likes and respects males. I also love the way animals are so delightfully portrayed. Wicca is presented in such a positive light, but all religions are honored. I think Ms. Riccio must be a very nice woman indeed to have created such a lively, warm and lovable group of characters. I can't wait for fall and the next book. Please, keep this series coming for a very long time.
