A Great study Bible for the New Testament

Hard to find, But well worth your money and time. A good word study of the Greek, and how it is actually used. It supplies the tools, you must supply the time and effort.

Great service

Product arrived very quickly. The dust cover was dirty and a little ripped, but the book itself hardly looked used. It was in perfect condition. I'm very pleased.

No need to be a Greek scholar!

The more I use the Discovery Bible New Testament for Bible study the more I appreciate it! The Greek language has so much depth of meaning that cannot be sufficiently translated into English and this Bible helps us understand the emphasized words, verb tenses, and multiple depths of meanings of the same word in Greek. For example, important words in the text are numbered and defined and contrasted in the Synonym Glossary in the back of the Bible. There you can learn that the English verb "to know" has six variations in the Greek that cannot be easily translated into common English. So we find in the verse "And by this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments (1 John 2:3)," that the word for "know" here refers to "ginosko" which means to know through experience from an active, personal relationship. The verb "keep" is marked to show that it represents a habitual activity. So you can see that this Bible illuminates much of what we can easily miss in reading our other Bibles. Buy a copy of the Discovery Bible the first chance you get and add it to your Bible study tools!

Discovery is a good title for this bible

I enjoy reading this bible because its word emphasis brings a greater meaning to the text. This is especially true in conversations, which often seem to "come to life" as a result of this work. While the tense coding system is useful, I find that it is sometimes a bit ambiguous. Overall, though, I recommend this work.
