Tyler Warrington has a reputation for not caring about anyone but himself, yet he gives away millions of dollars every year as a trustee of the Warrington Foundation. He finds himself at a loss however when someone sees him on television and decides he is the person to take care of the baby she cannot keep. Tyler finds himself caring for the first time, and is at a loss on how to handle it. Bethany Hart is a pediatrician and a researcher for kidney disease. Her whole life revolves around funding and helping to find a cure for kidney rejection in pediatric patients. When Tyler has his secretary call her, ask her to meet him, and to bring her medical bag, she is baffled, but assumed if he needs her help, he will give her funding for another year. Tyler truly is a good guy, although even he doesn't know it! As he grows closer to Bethany and Ben and learns to love someone, faults and all, this reader fell in the love with this character. When he falls in love, he falls hard, and he does his best to keep himself aloft. Bethany is the perfect woman to make him fall face first in love. She is smart and beautiful, although she doesn't know how great she really is until Tyler shows her his vulnerable side. While Abby Gaines has created a great hero and heroine, she has outdone herself with the secondary characters. Olivia and Silas were favorites of this reader, and the problems with Bethany, her brother and their parents were icing on the cake to keeping this tale real and in check with reality. The media and social services surrounding Tyler, Bethany and Ben felt a little off to this reviewer. Somehow she has a hard time believing Ben did not garner more attention and that Bethany could find the mother of this child by sheer chance before social services, and that the mother could have Ben back without repercussions. That being said, this is a great tale of fiction that will leave readers weepy as Ben gets the best home a child could dream of having. Review Courtesy of LoveRomancesandmore
