Great Book

Masterful story teller. Easy to follow characters . A look into the life of characters with Native American heritage,African Americans, and others in rural West Tennessee during the late 1940's. Can't wait to read the sequel.

Excellent story!

This was a very engaging story with believable characters, none of which were stereotypical or one dimensional. The author captures some interesting themes of how people see themselves and what motivates them.
