"Let them blow me up with my treasures.Let my treasures-along with bits and pieces of my bones-rain

As one reads this book ,it is imperative that you keep in mind it is a total work of fiction in its details. There is no doubt that Hitler was one of the worst examples of human garbage of the 20th.Century. There were several others just as bad in the Century,a continual stream of similar despots throughout history;and we are seeing that there are still new ones in the 21st Century. This book attempts to look into the mind of Hitler, albeit through the eyes of Eva. The more one reads about the leaders and followers of the National Socialist Nazi regime, the more one sees how evil it was. The fact that good people can ever come to terms with themselves for ever allowing such evil to exist, shows that there is the hope that Good will always succeed over Evil, given time and perservance; but oh, at what a price. One has to remember, no matter how hard one tries, there is never going to be any case made for good coming out of the evil that was generated by Hitler. It has always been the nature of Evil to be able to find its believers ,apologists and even appeasers. Be it Stalin and his communists, Tojo and his Japanese Empire,Mao and his followers,a small group like Charles Manson and his followers or bin Laden and his followers, supporters and apologists ;they can only succeed as long as men of good will let them. Try as you may to find some redeeming value in these people;the only good that can come from them is their total destruction.History has shown that the sooner it is nipped in the bud,the better. As one reads this book ,it is not even possible to harbour hate for them; they are not worthy of that;hate is their coin of the realm. Is this book worth reading? I think so;if only to remind us of the nature of Evil.

The Real Story on the Holocaust

Although this is a work of fiction, it is inspired by real diaries written by Eva Bran. Those you won't need to see, as this author has filled in all the things that "Mrs Hitler" left out: Like how she was actually the person who inspired Adolf to begin the program to exterminate the Jews of Europe. Remarkably, the author did not cover the post-war story on Eva. There are remarkable documents emerging from Israel which prove conclusivly that Hitler and Eva escaped aboard a submarine to Argentina. Once there they were unable to control themselves and began a campaign of terrorism throughout the world. Eva was the person who inspired even the Turner Diaries, so well known in the US. For her it was a psycho-sexual release. The tally for all the damage caused by Hitler and Eva is being assessed by an international team of Jewish humanitarians, and their representative will be making a few more calls as soon as he is done talking with the Swiss bankers who, even to this day, have been supplying the sinsister duo with pocket money.

An eerie portrait of a cruel woman

I found the book " The Devil's Mistress " by Alison Leslie Gold , to be very interesting and at the same time very disturbing. In her book we get to read the somewhat fictional diary of Eva Braun, and we not only learn daily routines of Eva but we also get insight into what kind of relationship(or so-called relationship) she and Hitler had. The woman Gold introduces to us is pathic, greedy, cruel, souless, and above all a person who could never be admired. Not only is she the devil's mistress but she too can be considered a devil herself. Her only interests are in herself. She hordes jewels and furs, trades rationed food for shoes, and even whines about herselve when her maid kills herself...what will happen to her. I felt Gold did a great job at creating the character of Eva Braun (becuase that is what she tends to be in history). It was an interesting read and at times it was hard to put down.

The stage of human sewage.

I stayed up late to make sure Eva Braun and her faceless empty man would come to an end in my imagination. This book brought them out live on a stage of human sewage. I felt their ugliness and was scared that Eva's preoccupation with exercise and her appearance was not unlike the values we live with today in LA. Degradation for affirmation. This book must be read!
