The devil was an angel is about a hero and liberator of black people who at independence introduced reconciliation between blacks and white which the former colonizer failed to reciprocate by later supporting opposition to Makape's rule. they received a back lash from makape who later grabbed their farms without compensation in the face of opposition by the international community who imposed targeted sanctions on the iron fist rule.
