fun romance

I loved the story and the writing. The plot was tight and full of action, no words wasted. Both characters were very real. I am happy to read a Kendrick novel where the heroine does not let the hero walk all over her!! Yeah!

get this! it's hot and i mean on fire

I am thrilled with my decision to finally read this book. Ms Kendrick has done it this time! This story showcases her writing skills at its best. She takes the reader on an incredible journey of smoldering sensuality, adventure, intrigue, and breathtaking romance. Lara and Darien are rulers of foreplay. They are one of THE most realistic, yet dreamy couples of all romantic novels i've read thus far...seriously. I loved the way Ms kendrick built the tension emotionally, physically, and mentally within Lara and Darien in such a way that the reader FELT it, then selected the appropriate moments to release that tension over and over again. I cannot wait to read prince Kalimn's story, i bet he is just as passionate as Darien.
