This book is one mans journey through life. A former successful businessman who never really understood what it meant to be alive. No matter the achievement it was never enough to fill the void in his existence. Over many years he began to awaken to something different. A new awareness that took over his life and changed everything. It was a great struggle including time in jail. It was while in jail that he found silence and appreciation for just being alive. He saw through his small window that there were two prisons, the one he was in and the one beyond his window. It all started with a simple question...'why do we call the sky blue?' No answer came other than that is what we're taught to call it. There's literally no other reason and all he knew shattered in an instant. He realized that everything he was taught was just an idea, not actual. His mind was broken. I know this because I am this man. During this journey he met Richard Schooping online and he and I knew immediately that we were kindred spirits. Richard has his own journey of awareness. Through terrible struggles including AIDS, cancer, aphasia, and many other health problems. Our meeting was no accident. He consulted with me on this book. Since then we have written another book, "The Myth Of Death, Eternal Season," which includes over 70 songs written and produced in only 10 months. This all happened because of this new awareness that took us out of the common thinking of society and led us into the silence of insight that is ever present, and the only reason humanity survived prior to any descriptions of what it means to be in this place.
