Very enjoyable read - unusual hero and heroine

Very much enjoyed this book - a strong 4-stars, but not a 5. An unusual hero; he's not perfect, or a rake, or a dandy, but a serious-minded almost staid boring man, as we first meet him, who becomes a couragous and gallant one when he's put in a position requiring it. A wonderful change in the usual kind of stereotype hero we get in most regencies. The heroine is equally unusual; independent, plucky, and courageous widow, who THANK GOD doesn't fall over faint at her first kiss. Their falling in love is slow and realistic and mature; spontaneous but reserved. I want more of this type of romance book.
