Too Gothic to be Jane Austen

Good read overall but the storylines are too Gothic to be a true Jane Austen vibe. Spoiler alert: the big crisis at the end between Elizabeth and Wickham would NEVER have been allowed by Jane...Elizabeth was Jane's beloved character and Jane would never written such a storyline for her beloved...which is why I say its too Gothic to be Jane Austen.
