The Dancing Man

When my daughter was a small child she had many books but only a few that had to be read again and again, The Dancing man was one of those books, and it was one of my personal favorites to read to her. She would imagine dancing around the world, like Joseph. I highly rate this book.

Simple Magic

This is the simple story about a boy who is left a pair of silver shoes by a strange man one day. The boy waits until he grows enough so that the silver shoes fit him, then he travels around the world making friends, spreading laughter and joy by dancing for people in his silver shoes. I haven't read the story in years, but the tale has always stayed with me and been a part of me. The book is humble and subdued, but its message of spreading happiness to others seeps into you like a sip of hot cocoa. A wonderful story and well worth buying and reading to any child.

A beautiful story about not letting go of your dreams

This is a story of a little boy who refused to let go of his dreams. He dreamed of dancing across the land, telling stories with his dances, making people smile. This book danced it's way into our hearts. It's one of those "makes you feel good" books. My 4-year old daughter loves it. The illustrations and wonderful and the story is one you can read time and again.
