Tightly paced, action-packed thriller

I picked up this book in desperation in an airport several years ago. I couldn't put it down! My mother was travelling with me, and had the same response that I did. The most telling thing was that we bought two "throw away" paperbacks (or leave in hotel rooms) to take to Portugal, and brought this one home with us! Excellent Ludlum.

Fast paced action, never let up for a instant.

Vintage Ludlum, from early in his carrer. The more recent fans of Robert Ludlum will enjoy going back to read this book first published under the pen-name Jonathan Ryder, this is also and excellent book for people to start with in the Ludlum Lexicon, being the fact it doesn't require that you read a previously published novel of his to enjoy the story. The books plot is a bit complex at first, but Ludlum seems to keep the pace up. This book is a must have for any fan of the genre

Captivating, Engrossing - just like a good Ludlum book

Like most of his other books, Ludlum does a good job of capturing the reader's undivided attention. And like most of his other books, this book has just a touch of romance so that it doesn't feel boring and monotonous. It is certainly not his best work, but still it is far better than most other thrillers out there

A very good slam-bang action thriller.

Another novel by the master of spy & intruige, which again is just a novel to entertain. Not to be any special classic that will last for years to come. But it is a real treat. Not quite his best one, but a real good fun read. You also like the characters well. Alex McAuliff and Alison Booth, are likeable people. This novel is, I belive, somewhat slower than his other novels like The Bourne Idenity, or The Chancellor Manuscript. Though the plot itself is very tense which keeps you turning the pages. And once the action comes, it is very hard to put it down. A good read. I recommend it to a reader who is desperate for some fun. And believe me, you'll get it
