Another great one!

Doty is quite possibly the best author of young adult "horsey" books! Like her others, I first read "The Crumb" when I was about ten and even then it struck me as something unusual. She reaches beyond the usual "girl loves horses" story and pulls out emotions and depth that are rare in horse fiction, especially for young adults. "The Crumb" is perhaps the finest example of the perfect fiction book for anyone!
