On the Cross Jesus shed his blood and died for all of our sins

This book is about the Army Chaplain Henry Gerecke who almost lost 2 sons badly wounded in World War 2. He prayed for the holy spirit when he was offered the job of being the chaplain to the Germans on trial for atrious war crimes In Germany. I believe that he was chosen by God. He also spoke German and was Lutheran which most of the defendants claimed to be. Before reading the book I had serious doubts if any of these men known for crimes to humanity would accept Jesus. All were thankful for the love and kindness shown them by Chaplain Gerecke and signed a letter saying so. But to my surprise many of them did accept Jesus. To my shock the No 1 criminal being tried had a wife and daughter who were Christians and begged him to repent and accept Jesus. This book I would rate 100+++.This is the best book that I have ever read.I will read it again. Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior? Please do not put it off.
Christ's Love Penetrates the Hardest of Sinners

This book captures the true essence of what Christian love is all about. Henry Gerecke, Chaplain to the Nazi leaders on trial at Nuremberg was a true ambassador for Christ as he ministered to these "chiefs of sinners". Putting aside his own hurts from the war he went about the Lords business of ministering to the lost. "These men must be told about the Saviour bleeding, suffering and dying on the Cross for them", was his reasoning. Who would imagine that some of these Nazi leaders would repent from their wicked ways and accept Christ as their Saviour? Not only did they attend Sunday services, they even started up a bible study while on trial. This book provides us with the hope needed to never give up on anyone coming to Christ's saving grace NO MATTER WHAT THE SIN. But more importantly, the hope to realise the power of the Gospel to penetrate even the most evil of hearts. I highly recommend it.
