HECKA SCARY WORLD THAT IS ATHAS

I really enjoy this series. The world of Athas is bleak, unforgiving and downright frightening. This book is chock full of action and fighting. Former slaves and gladiators track down an opposition army throughout the deserts of Athas. It culminates in a battle that is fantastic.Side note: The halfling assasins are terrifying in this book! I'll never look at a Hobbit the same way.

A great purchase, great book, little money

If you play the RPG, this book it's an excellent element for your campaign, and if you don't, please don't hesitate BUY IT NOW!!.I read the spanish version (I'm from Argentina) and i think it's one of the best books I have ever read. Also the entire saga of Pent Prism books is just great.

Exellent

This is the second installment of a pentad of grate books, great plot and lots of action

Awesome plot, it really shows what DS is like

From the beginning I was hooked. This book is full of action and high powered adventure. It takes you through the rollercoaster ride of the greatest hero in DS, Rikus of Tyr. He is a true hero and I admire him and his courage. As one of my favorite all time boos. I highly reccomend it to anyone who likes high adventure and fantasy.

A must read for bloody killing

The best book of the PRISM PENTAD. It teaches readers that a general does not only have to have a strong arm, but stretegic planning, as Rikus finds out. An interesting turn out with great plot. Lots of killing.
