Artemis may be the best book series ever (There are no spoilers in this review by the way)

I am going to make this review simple. I am going to list the five artemis fowl books on here and have little reviews about them. But before I make the list I want make this clear to you:THERE ARE NO SPOILERS IN THIS REVIEW!!And also The Artemis Fowl book series is one of the best book series I've ever read. It supenseful, humorus and most of all action- packed. SO here i began teh list of the Artemis Fowl books (in order). Artemis Fowl- This book couldn't have been better. It action packed the plot is orginal and the characters are well devolped (if not likable all the time). I won't explain the plot too you because you can check it out on this website but this book maybe one of my books of all time. Five stars out of five stars. Artemis Fowl:The Artic Incident- I was very dissapionted in this sequel because it was confusing and very badly written. And plus Folw acted like a wimp in this book and there was hardly any adventure in the book to keep you entertained!! Two Stars out of five stars. Artemis Fowl: The Etirnety Code- An improvment over the second book with a villian that acutually acts like a villian. The Plot is interesting and Artemis actually becomes a hero in the process. The o nly bad part about this book was teh ending. Colfer seemed to give up and come up with a totally unnessacary ending that spoils everything! But overall it was a cool book with an excellent plot. Four and a half stars out of five stars. Artemis Fowl: The Opal Deception- Mix the second book with the third book and thats what you get with this artemis fowl book. An exicting sequel and its great fun but it stretches a bit and gets very long (even though its only 3oo and something pages). And also, if I might add, the title dosen't make much sense to the story. Four stars out of five stars. Artemis Fowl: The Lost Colony- a good, exicting book but its all so different from the other books in series. Its all about Demons (which is very disturbing to read about) ands thats there are kind demons are out there. I found that truly offensive but the rest of the book is greaat fun. Because of the Demon stuff I have to rate this book three stars out of five stars.

Hilarious!

My younger sister told me that if I like Harry Potter then I would also like Artemis Fowl. She was right. Artemis is a boy genius turned criminal mastermind who goes on a quest to steal fairy gold from beneath the soil of Ireland. And it's one of the funniest books I've read in a long time. Snappy humor and sarcastic remarks from several of the characters had me laughing out loud on the train like a crazy person. It's a quick read, something you could get through in an afternoon if you had nothing going on. Perhaps the best thing about Artemis Fowl is that it's fantasy for the masses. Yes, it has faries, goblins, and centaurs, but it also has your typical Hollywood fare of bodyguards, big guns, and kidnapping. It's an excellent choice if you're persuading someone to try a fantasy novel for the first time. The only downside is the occasional lack of description, but in the grand scheme of the book it's very minor. Overall, Artemis Fowl is hilarious and entertaining. Check it out.

Great Books

This collection is books 1-3. All are action filled and wonderful. Both adults and children love them. I can't wait for the last AF book!

Best series since J.R.R. Tolkein's Lord of the Rings!

I've read them all, re-read them all, bought them all, listend to, well, the first three. But soon, all. I realy love this seiries, because it's the only book besides Cornelia Funke's, The Theif Lord, that has the main character as a criminal. I think that's what realy makes it interesting, looking in on the illegitemate side of the corporate world. Even though Artemis is an underage genious, he's not smart enough to compete with the People. Read all his action packed novels, they'll keep you on your toes, and make you read late into the night! Just don't drool, or the pages might stick! ^_~ ~Mika

Have to read this

I read these books just for fun thinking I would finish in a few days and not think about it past that. Well I had another thing coming. I couldn't put the book down once I had started. I missed hours of sleep because of these books. If you want a book that can keep you enraptured for hours read the Artemis Fowl books you won't regret it
